Yes. Government 108 is free but has average response times of 18–30 minutes in Bangalore. Namma Ambulance dispatches within 90 seconds and aims for 15–25 minute on-site arrival in covered zones. Key advantages: live tracking, choice of ambulance type (Mini / BLS / Ventilator / Mortuary), transparent fares, 9-language support, and digital receipts for insurance reimbursement. Cost starts at ₹989.
We commit to under 90 seconds from booking to ambulance dispatch. In active zones (Yelahanka, Hebbal, Jalahalli, Peenya, Yeshwanthpur, Malleshwaram, Rajajinagar) our average on-site arrival is 15–25 minutes. If we cannot dispatch within 2 minutes, we notify you, expand the search radius, and offer manual coordination. You can cancel without charge at any point before arrival.
In active zones (Madavara, Yelahanka, Abbigere, Jalahalli Cross), our average pickup is under twelve minutes. Driver assignment happens within ninety seconds of booking. Live ETA shown on the map throughout. Outside active zones, we'll tell you upfront if response time is longer than fifteen minutes — you can choose to proceed or cancel without charge.
Mini is the compact ambulance for stable transport — from ₹989 up to 3.5 km. BLS is the full-size cabin for emergencies — from ₹1,449 for the first 5 km. Ventilator is ICU-on-wheels with oxygen inbuilt — from ₹3,450 for the first 9 km. Mortuary uses Mini or BLS plus ₹300 de-sanitization. Add oxygen (₹100/hr on Mini/BLS), a helper (₹429 / 2h 40m), or a paramedic (₹500 / 2h 40m) when extra hands are needed.
The fare you see when you book is the fare you pay. Distance-based meter, like an auto-rickshaw. No surge pricing during traffic, no extra at the hospital gate. Night duty adds ₹200 on Mini and ₹300 on BLS base fares. Oxygen, helper, paramedic, or deep wash are optional add-ons shown before they apply.
Direct insurance settlement is in active development. For now, you pay through the app and we email a GST-compliant receipt within five minutes. Most major TPAs and health insurers in India accept this receipt for reimbursement. We're integrating with NHCX, India's national health claim exchange, to enable cashless ambulance claims by the end of 2026.
Yes. The app ships in nine Indian languages including Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam, and English. Switch language anytime in settings. Driver communication respects your language preference too — if you've set Kannada, we route to a Kannada-speaking driver first.
All drivers complete Bangalore traffic and route training, basic medical handling, and patient-handoff protocol. Mini rides with a trained attendant. Add a helper or paramedic on Mini, BLS, Ventilator, or Mortuary when the patient needs extra hands. Ventilator units carry critical-care kit with oxygen inbuilt. Crew details are visible in the app at the moment of booking.
Automatic. A GST-compliant trip receipt is emailed within five minutes of trip completion. Includes patient details, pickup and drop locations, ambulance type, equipment used, fare breakdown, and our GSTIN. Re-download anytime from the trip history in the app. We can also resend on request — email support@ambugo.help.
We operate any time, every time. Festivals mean more drivers on standby because more emergencies happen. Monsoon means we route around flooded streets in real-time using local driver knowledge, not just Google Maps. Bengaluru's 6 PM traffic is just Tuesday for us — our drivers are Bangalore drivers, they know which inner road to cut through. The fare doesn't change. The promise doesn't change.
If no driver accepts within ninety seconds, we expand the search radius automatically and notify you. If still no driver in two minutes, we offer to escalate to a partner network — usually adds a small partner fee, shown upfront. If you choose not to escalate, the booking cancels with no charge and our support team calls you within sixty seconds to coordinate manually. Hasn't happened often in week one. We're scaling supply density daily.
